    Always remember that, in tax planning, one size doesn’t fit everybody. Here in Georgia, there are actually certain types of assets that you would be better off (both financially and tax-wise) if the assets went through probate. I’ve a number of clients that use trusts as you described but I’ve learned to be very leery of DIY websites. More often than not, these type of documents are not in compliance with state law. Let me know if you wish to discuss at length.
